God whispers to us in our pleasures,
speaks in our conscience,
but shouts in our pains;
it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.
--C.S. Lewis

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
--James 1:2-4 (NASB)

I know You're sovereign still.

Like brother, like sister.

Out with the old, in with the new

New Year's always provokes me to start new things. And this year that takes the form of a blog. (Sel never fails to inspire me.) Let's see how long this lasts.

2008 brought me countless firsts and miscellaneous adventures, mostly thanks to my dear roommates Selina & Michelle. This year I got over a heartbreak, reconciled a friendship I thought was lost for good, found community and experienced God like never before. And I turned 21! Best birthday ever.

With that being said, I'm excited to see what 2009 brings. I have a good feeling about this one. I can't really believe I'm graduating from college already. I feel like I just graduated from high school. Time to be an adult and make actual life changing decisions, I guess. Scary.

Oh, one of my new year's resolutions --

take more lomo pics.
