Cruise Control

Jury duty finally got me. Drats. Thank GOD the Long Beach court house has free wi-fi.

I love San Diego.
I think I still want to live there when I have my own family.
Speaking of SD families, I visited his, which was kind of... surreal.
It's nice knowing they're still there for me with open arms.
They're good people.

Oh! And real Diana F+ pictures to come :]

Cravings

I never feel like updating this thing anymore. Someone told me my blog was lame, but whatever. It's not like I do this for an audience anyways. I figured it'd just be fun to unload some thoughts every once in awhile, creatively or not. Ugh, some people are such downers sometimes. Anyways, I've been home for far too many hours and I'm running out of things to do. It's making me so antsy. Unfortunately, all my plans keep bailing on me. Even jury duty. Hah. I'm finally realizing how much living in LA has made me grown accustom to always ALWAYS having something to do. It's just so much harder to entertain myself back home. Er, it just takes a lot more effort to meet up with people and think of things to do. Which just makes moving back home a lot more dreary. Bah. I guess that's part of becoming an adult -- leaving my college bubble of fun. Oh well, it's still early in the week so hopefully things pick up again. I'm hoping I don't get called into jury duty tomorrow so I can go to San Diego for some carne asada fries from Lolita's. I miss that town. Then maybe I'll have some exciting pictures to post up.

Well, here's this one from my first day of spring break. Woohoo. ♥

Mubbin Top

Today I made blueberry muffins ("blooberry mubbins") with the cutest little two year old. It was extremely exciting for the both of us. He scampered around the kitchen pulling mixing bowls, a muffin pan and spoons out of the drawers before I could find them myself. And when I had to open the can of blueberries he ran to one corner of the kitchen and pointed up at the counter, "There, the right. No, that side!" Lo and behold, I found a can opener, among an assorted pile of kitchen utensils. He even explained how it works: "Daddy turn it and, and it open." I let him pour everything himself and when the muffin mix got on my hand, he said "Oh oh, getting on your hand, Gace!" He even told me to turn on the oven before we started. Uh, I don't think I ever realized to preheat the oven until I was in high school. When it was all done, he asked for a plate and blew on the hot mubbins for a good five minutes before he ate them. // I love babysitting.
