Delight

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Psalms 1:1-3

God has definitely been testing and trying me these past few days. I need renewal.

Cimmamon

My weekend: Apples to Apples, homemade cinnamon rolls & my home church with some of my favorite people. Mmm, I am happy. ♥

Burnout

I took the bus to Santa Monica Public Library today. I really needed to get away from everyone and Sel reassured me that it'd be refreshing. The bus ride reminded me of when I drove around mindlessly after a heartbreak. Something about being on the road is so calming. I don't know, I've just been so bogged down with different things to take care of. Makes me miss having someone to hold my hand and take care of me for once. And I think that's the only reason I'm excited about graduating -- I'm so burnt out from school and ministry and people. I just want to go somewhere and sit still for a really long time.

P.S. I forgot what sunburns feel like.

Homeward Bound

I just realized I'm excited about graduating and moving home. I need a change in scenery or some other drastic change to mix things up and make things interesting. Boredom and senioritis have gotten the worst of me.

The Tipping Point

I'm taking a social psychology class where all we're basically learning is how situations and people around us influence our actions a lot more than we realize it.

Oh, but I realize it. I'm way easily influenced. I think that's the "sensing" part of being an ISFJ. No?
